Wireless Access
Wireless access is available in most common areas on campus. You can access the Internet and any web applications and resources delivered with a web browser via TCP port 80. You can also borrow a laptop from Atkins Library.

When you open your web browser, you will be redirected to the UNC Charlotte Wireless Network Login.

Login with your NinerNET account.
University guests should enter a valid email account in the field labeled Guest.
- Logoff to end your wireless session by clicking the "Click here to Logoff" icon in the
Logoff popup window. This may have been minimized to the Task Bar.

Email with Smart Phones
Your can set up your University email to be delivered to your smart phone as an IMAP or an Exchange account, according to your preference.

Remote File Access
If you are away from campus you can still edit, copy rename and move files and directories saved on the University network on your H:\ drive. You are provided with 200MB of file storage space on H:\.
Login to NetStorage at http://webf.uncc.edu with your NinerNET account to get access to your personal files on the University network. Find out more about using Netstorage.
Software Downloads
Information & Technology Services provides software for students to install at no additional charge from the Student Computing secure download site. Get a list of the software available for download and check-out from the Library.
Online Training
Get online software training whenever you need it
with SkillPort. When you login to SkillPort, you can access over 2,600 courses, simulations, express guides, test prep exams, mentoring, skill briefs and job aids. SkillPort offers a variety of learning resources designed to meet a wide range of learning needs.
Distance Education
Students enrolled in Distance Education courses can get assistance with e-Learning tools like Blackboard Vista or Moodle, the online course management systems and Centra, the virtual classroom environment by contacting the Student Computing Help Center. HelpDesk Online
If you need technical assistance, you can login to the HelpDesk Online to submit and track your issue. You can also contact the Student Computing Help Center by phone at 704-687-6400 during business hours.
