NinerNET Account
Now that you've been accepted to UNC Charlotte, you'll need to activate your NinerNET account to create your password and get your User Name that will log you in to University applications.
- Go to PW Manager, click Activate your NinerNET account.
- Follow the directions to create your NinerNET account password which provides access to 49er Express, the University network, your University email and other University applications.
- Go to PW Manager if you forget your NinerNET password or you need to change it.
When you login to 49er Express with your NinerNET account, you get access to University email, course information, grades, registration, financial accounts and more. The University network gives you access to various software applications and a high speed Internet connection in the Student Computing labs or Atkins Library and 200MB of personal storage space on your H:\drive for files and web pages.
NinerNET Account Retention
Incoming students are assigned a NinerNET account when they are admitted. The NinerNET account provides access to 49er Express, email, and the University network as well as other applications. The NinerNET account remains in effect for as long as the student is enrolled in classes and for a period of one year following graduation.
If a student does not register for classes during two consecutive registration periods (not counting summer), the NinerNET account is inactivated and access to 49er Express, email, and the University network is removed.
Access to your academic history is also available through direct access to Banner Self Service which is located at https://selfservice.uncc.edu. Problems viewing your unofficial transcript?

Your University email account is an official
method of communication at UNC Charlotte. Check your email by logging in to
49er Express with your
