There are two ways to disable pop-ups in Internet Explorer 6 or Internet Explorer 7. Pop-ups will be allowed only on the site that's active when making these selections.
- After clicking on the yellow notification bar, select Allow pop-ups temporarily to allow pop-ups to be displayed only while the current Internet Explorer window is open.
- Select Always allow pop-ups for this site to permanently display pop-ups for a trusted site.
Note: You should always allow pop-ups to display for Blackboard Vista and University email.
Mozilla Firefox users should select Options and then select the preferred option for pop-ups. If you are using Google, Yahoo or any other third party toolbar, check the Help or Options settings on the toolbar for more information on disabling pop-ups.
