Get technical assistance from the Student Computing Help Center. Visit the Help Center in Barnard, call 704-687-6400 or submit your problem to the HelpDesk Online and a Technical Assistant will help.

How do I change my password?

Use PW Manager to change your NinerNET password that you use to login to 49er Express, the University network, University email and other University applications.

PW Manager will notify you by email when your password is about to expire. The messages will be delivered 15 days prior to the expiration time and will be repeated at the following intervals -- 10, 8, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 days -- or until the password has been changed.

If your password expires, you can change it by answering 3 of the security questions you created. If you can't answer your security questions you should visit the Student Computing Help Center in Barnard, call 704-687-6400 for password assistance.

Tip: You must answer at least six security questions during setup. You'll be required to answer at least three correctly to reset your password.
