Printers & Copiers

While visiting the labs, please...

Respect other students - don't talk on your cell phone.
Respect University property - don't bring in food and drink.
Respect academic endeavors - don't IM, chat or play games while others are waiting.

Note: Items left in the labs are turned over to Campus Police.

Printers and Copiers

Printing and copying is available in the Student Compuitng labs and Atkins Library on a per page charge basis. Black and white print/copies are 8¢ per page and color print/copies are 25¢ per page. If you require special paper sizes or need custom documents, visit the Copy Center on the 2nd floor of Atkins Library.

You can pay for print/copy jobs by adding cash to your 49er ID card account or by purchasing a 49er Cash Card available at any one of four Value Transfer Stations or at Auxiliary Services.

"Follow you" printing allows you to release your print job from any print release station on campus, including any of the five Student Computing labs, the Library or departmental labs with pay-for-print stations.

Windows Printing	Mac Printing
Select the Print option. Select the printer and click Print. To print in color or use the duplexing feature, click Properties. Enter a Release Key (password for your print job) - up to 14 characters - and click OK.	Select the Print option. Select the 99_MACPRINT printer and click Print. Enter a unique Release Key (password for your print job)- up to 14 characters - and click OK.
Password Suggestion: Use your NinerNET username plus a random number or letter.
Important!: Remember your Release Key code – you’ll need it to release your print job. Your print job is also assigned a default name that you can change if desired.
