Wireless Access

While wireless access does offer mobility, it is not a substitute for the services available in the Student Computing labs. Wireless access doesn’t provide a direct connection to the University network so you won’t have access to University software applications or printing services. You can access your H:\ drive with NetStorage at https://webf.uncc.edu. For additional applications and printing services, visit the Student Computing labs in Barnard.

Wireless computing is a convenience service offered to students of UNC Charlotte. Technical support beyond this online information is not provided.

Borrow a Laptop

Atkins Library loans laptop computers to students, faculty and staff for a 24-hour period. These laptops are already configured to access the University wireless network. Just click the Internet Explorer icon on the desktop and enter your NinerNET user name and password for Internet access. Visit http://library.uncc.edu for more information on borrowing a laptop and other equipment.
